To ensure strict implementation of BS VI emission norms from April 2020, the Government has made it mandatory to pick up at least 50 per cent of vehicle samples randomly for testing from a particular plant from dealer's location.
"At least 50 per cent of vehicle models produced from a particular plant shall be selected randomly from dealer's location or warehouse," the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said in a notification.
