The Delhi Police arrested a 26-year-old businessman for allegedly resorting to physical violence with a girl at a party in South Delhi’s posh colony of Chitranjan Park.
The man was partying with a group of friends in a restaurant and got heavily drunk. “He allegedly slapped the girl and misbehaved with her under the influence of alcohol causing injuries on her,” said a police official who registered a complaint at the CR Park Police station on Sunday.
According to the police officials, the accused, Amarpreet, slapped the girl who was her friend and after she left from the party, he followed her and snatched her car keys.
Following this, he behaved badly with her. later the girl was taken to the Max Hospital at Saket for medical examination. On receiving the complaint from the girl and the hospital staff, the police lodged a case against the accused under Sections 354A (molestation), 323 (causing hurt), 341 and 506 (Threatening) of the Indian Penal Code.
