A differently-abled high school student was allegedly beaten to death after argument over stopping the bus by a conductor of a roadways bus on NH-91 on Sunday night. The deceased is identified as Ikram Ali.
Police said that Ali boarded the bus from Aligarh. He asked the conductor to stop the bus near Chapraula village but a heated argument started when the conductor denied to stop the bus. When Ali insisted he was allegedly beaten by the conductor. The incident took place near lal Kuan bus stop.
No passenger came forward to help him. Sanoj, the conductor, left him when he realised that Ali is not moving. Passerby informed the cops and he was taken to nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. Police has sent the body for postmortem and have arrested the conductor. Police have informed Ali’s family member who hails from Farrukhabad. An FIR was registered at Bisrakh police station.
