BSP: Biased UP Govt demoted officers elevated by Maya regime

Calling the ruling Samajwadi Party anti-Dalit, the Bahujan Samaj Party said that the Akhilesh Yadav Government is biased against SC/ ST employees and has wilfully demoted officers who were rightly promoted during Mayawati’s regime.

“The Government is working against dalits. The Government’s action to demote employees is driven by political vendetta. The Supreme Court has never said that officers should be demoted but SP Government interpreted law to serve its political purpose,” senior BSP leader & leader of Opposition in Vidhan Sabha Swami Prasad Maurya said here on Tuesday. He said Government has demoted thousands of employees and there are plans to demote over 50,000 teachers.

“This action could spark caste war because these employees would hit the streets soon,” he said. Hitting out at Akhilesh Yadav Govt Maurya said that it has failed to start development projects in the State.

To buttress his point he questioned as why the State Government has failed to collect forensic report in Dadri lynching case. The report has clarified that meat found at Md Ikhlaq’s house was not beef. “The Samajwadi Party in connivance with BJP wants to keep communal pot boiling. We have seen this happening in 2014 and the same will happen in 2017,” Maurya said.
