The Border Security Force on Thursday apprehended a Pakistani fishing boat along with six fishermen from Sir Creek area off Kutch coast. According to information available, the fishermen caught belong to Shah Bandar area of Pakistan and had ventured into the Indian side of international maritime border. One of those caught by the para military force includes a 10-year-old boy. The BSF has been recovering or nabbing several fishing boats from the area in past three-four months. Many a times, the Pakistanis abandon their boats either due to their boats being caught in the marshy area or due to fear of being caught by the Indian paramilitary agencies, before running back to Pakistan side of the border. However, those detained on Thursday have been handed over to Koteshwar police for further investigations. There is no report of any objectionable material being recovered from those detained or from their boat so far.
