Though they don’t have much political weight in Gujarat compared to powerful Patidar community, a three-day long event — Brahm Sammelan — has been planned by the community starting from Friday in the wake of upcoming Assembly polls at GMDC Ground in Ahmedabad from where Hardik Patel’s agitation kicked off.
The organisers ‘All India Audichya Brahm Samaj’ is projecting the event as a show of strength and appealed to all members belonging to the sub-castes of Brahmins to unite on the platform to create a pressure group for the betterment of the community.
