In a bid to give further boost to tourism in Hyderabad ace tennis star and the brand ambassador for Telangana State Sania Mirza on Wednesday inaugurated two luxury Catamaran Yachts in the Hussain Sagar lake.
This came a day after the State Government launched first of its kind Heli tourism facility in order to provide an aerial view of the city to the tourists.
Sania Mirza accompanied by P Ramulu, Chairman, State Tourism Development Corporation and other officials took maiden ride on one of the two catamaran boats, procured from the United States, in the Hussain Sagar lake.
Speaking on the occasion Ramulu said that this was one of the numerous initiatives planned to make city a favorite destination of domestic and foreign tourists.
“These new facilities will be highly affordable for every category of tourist”, he said. luxury ride package in the two new boats will cost only Rs100 per person. For a group of 15 to 20 tourists the boat will cost only Rs2,000 per hour.
“I will do my best for the development of tourism. I am proud to be a Hyderabadi ,” Sania said.
