The missing case of an Army jawan during a rail journey three years ago has been solved after his body was found among unidentified bodies maintained by Delhi Railway Police.
Thambu Samy, serving with the Army was on his way back to Dehradun, to rejoin duty after a brief vacation at his native Ariyalur, went missing after he boarded a train to Delhi in March 2011.Since his father’s complaint did not lead anywhere, the case was transferred to the CBCID in 2012 following a Madras High Court directive after a petition was filed by Samy’s wife.
