Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) is organising Cleanliness Fortnight from September 16 to 30 which began on Saturday with the officers and employees taking an oath of cleanliness. Under the guidance of the GM Basudev Panda, the oath ceremony was held at various places in BLW where the officers and employees took oath of cleanliness. The chief safety officer SB Patel administered the path at Manthan, situated at the eastern gate of workshop, the chief material manager, loco Trilok Kothari and the chief quality assurance manager Praveen Kumar at the reception hall in the administrative building while the heads of various departments administered the oath in the departments. The officers and employees also launched a cleanliness drive in the premises of BLW and also made others aware about this through banners and posters.
