Three persons including two policemen were injured after suspected cadres of Ulfa’s anti-talk faction lobbed a grenade at the Mangaldai police station in Assam’s Darrang district on Thursday evening.
State’s Additional DGP (law and Order) AP Raut said that three persons were injured as the grenade went off in the campus of the Mangaldai police station in Mangaldai town. “The incident took place around 7 pm. The grenade, however, could not cause much injury as it got exploded in air,” he said adding that all the victims had minor injuries.
