Buoyed by the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand the workers will hold Rs Vijayutsav' across the country to celebrate party's recent victoiry in these two neighbouring states on Saturday.
This celebration would serve as the launching pad for the party's campaign for the 2019 general elections.
"To celebrate party's victory in UP and Uttarakhand along with formation of Governments in Goa and Manipur, the party has planned to hold 'Vijayutsav' on Saturday," BJP State general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.
''BJP has witnessed this historic victory under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and meticulous and dynamic organisational skills of national party president Amit Shah. We will take this down to the booth level," he said.
"Through this celebration, BJP will express its profound gratitude to the voters of all the five States, especially UP and Uttarakhand for reposing faith in the leadership of PM Modi and Amit Shah," Pathak added.
In the course of the celebrations, the party leaders including all MPs, MlAs, councillors and booth level workers would bring out processions, bike rallies and distribute sweets among voters.
Pathak said the party will ensure that people from every walk of life participate in this celebration.
