The BJP on Tuesday announced the details of the campaign schedule for its central leaders in the poll-bound States. Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will be in focus as he will campaign for four days in Madhya Pradesh, three days in Rajasthan, two days in Chhattisgarh and one day in Delhi.

Veteran lK Advani, party chief Rajnath Singh, leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj, former president M Venkaiah Naidu and other senior leaders will also extensively campaign in these States.

“The fight is between “bad governance of Congress versus the good governance of the BJP,” in-charge of BJP’s central election management, programme and coordination Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi informed. The party hopes to ride the pro-incumbency wave in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to return to power, while its focus will remain on corruption and misrule by the Congress in Rajasthan and Delhi.  Naqvi said the party has appointed booth level workers for over 45,334 polling booths in Rajasthan, 53986 in MP, 21418 in Chhattisgarh and 11763 in Delhi.

The BJP also warned that Congress’ vote bank politics, “Government is trying to bring back the Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence Bill, 2011. It is actually a Communal targeted vote Bill,” BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told reporters, describing the move as a “self-goal” by the Congress. “The Bill can take the situation towards a civil war. You cannot say that all the people from a particular community are rioters,” he said, adding, “Congress has tried to tell the people that it is the biggest well-wisher of the minorities. But this move shows the negative and non-sensical mentality of Congress.”
