Continuing with his attack on the BJP, Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav said the Bharatiya Janata Party was using religion to communalise the peaceful atmosphere of Uttar Pradesh and polarise the by-elections.
“This party has no faith in democratic system. The leaders do not want communal harmony in the State. The BJP wants to polarise the society on religious lines for political gain,” Yadav said while addressing a public rally at the Ramlila ground in Mainpuri on Monday.
“BJP leaders excel in telling lies and spreading rumours ... Nothing has happened in 100 days of Modi raj, The truth is prices of essential commodities have sky rocketed forcing people to bear the brunt,” Yadav said.
