Stepping up its attack on the Hyderabad MP and MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi over his offer of legal assistance to the five terror suspects, Telangana BJP leaders on Monday met the Governor ESl Narasimhan and demanded action against the MP.

The delegation headed by the State BJP President K lakshman expressed its concern over the spreading tentacles of terrorist elements and ISIS supporters in the old city of Hyderabad. The BJP also expressed concern over the silence of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and the State Government over the statement of the MIM President.

Talking to the media lakshman urged the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to explain his stand over Asaduddin Owaisi's announcement of legal help to those facing the charges of links with ISIS.

He alleged that the State Government was neglecting a serious situation.

BJP city MlA Raja Singh has demanded booking a case of treason against Owaisi and his arrest. He also demanded the derecognition of MIM as a political party.

"His announcement is the proof that he was supporting the ISISI terrorist and they were taking shelter in the old city", he alleged.

He demanded an explanation from the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on this issue and asked how he can support Asaduddin Owaisi. The BJP MlA congratulated the NIA for foiling a dangerous conspiracy to carry out terrorists attacks in Hyderabad.

An advocate and BJP leader K Karuna Sagar has lodged a complaint at the Saroornagar Police station in Hyderabad demanding action against him for extending help to the terrorist organisation ISIS.

"The MP is providing oxygen to the terrorists who want to target India", he said in his complaint. Providing legal help to the terrorists amounts to encouraging terrorism, he said.

He also handed over the video footage of Owaisi's speech of last Friday in which he had announced legal aid to the five Hyderabadis.

However Saroornagar police inspector lingaiah said that no case was booked against the MP and he was waiting for the legal opinion.
