Congress on Saturday took a pot shot at BJP for attacking CBI, saying it can now appeal to US probe agency FBI to investigate the matter relating to a letter by MPs to President Barack Obama against Narendra Modi as it does not have faith in the Indian agency.
“letter of MPs was signed in India & used in USA. Due to lack of faith in CBI, BJP may appeal to President Obama for an impartial inquiry by FBI,” Congress General Secretary Shakeel Ahmad said on Twitter. Ahmad had raked up a controversy with his remark linking the birth of terror outfit IM to 2002 Gujarat riots.
