Denying its closeness with YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the BJP on Wednesday said it was due to the Modi wave that the TDP gained electorally in Andhra Pradesh and rejected the TDP claim that the NDA alliance had cost its seats in the State.

Stating that the party does not want to get into blame game and is fully committed to the development of Andhra Pradesh, senior BJP leader and union Minister PrakasshJavadekar said the BJP Government has gone beyond the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act in allocating funds and projects and their speedy implementation in the State.

"We can do politics but do not do politics which is not real", the Union Minister said referring to TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu's chargeof  the Centre not implementing aspirations of people of Andhra Pradesh. He said he was pained to see the fallout of the alliance and the acrimony from the other side.

Adressing a press conference here, Javadekar denied that the party was moving closer to YSR Congress and  it's Government at the Centre is being soft on corruption charges against Jaganmohan Reddy. "It is not true.,State Government is led by Chandrababu Naidu, What Chief Minister is doing IJ", He asked.

On TDP's breaking exit from the NDA alliance, the BJP leader said his party makes friends and is not in habit of ditching them. " But more than friendship we value development of India", he said. Javadekar who was earlier in-charge of the State said he  was pained to see that the erstwhile partner of NDA had taken to a blame game."

They will realize their mistake later", the Union Minister hasten to add.

Reeling off figures relating to the central assistance to Andhra Pradesh, the BJP leader said most of the projects were be that IIT, AIAMS, NIIT, Petroleum and refinery institute and  others took off immediately after the Modi-government took over at the centre unlike its predecessor.

Javadekar said in politics all  parties are free to make choices and decisions but " we are not in habit of ditching ..there should not be false allegation", he said.

On BJP's presence in the State, he said his party is growing everywhere stating that in 1998 when BJP contested single-handedly its vote share stood  at 18 per cent.
