BJP MPs from Gujarat seek NOC for Cargo Service Centre

Published on:

A delegation of the BJP MPs from Gujarat headed by Parashotam Rupala recently met Aviation Minister Ajit Singh to give NOC to Cargo Service Centre (CSC) constructed by the Gujarat Government near Ahmedabad Airport.

According to the delegation, the construction work of CSC was completed three years back. “There is a delay from the Central Government to issue NOC. The delay is against the interest of farmers as their perishable yields like fruits, vegetables, flowers etc. are not being exported,” said Rupala.

In order to support farmers in the State to get high rates of their perishable agriculture produce, the Gujarat Government had built the state-of-the-art CSC.

Currently Gujarat’s farmers are sending their produce to Mumbai by road in order to export. “Because of the progressive agriculture policy of the State Government, farmers in Gujarat are using modern technology of farming that include green house, net house and drip irrigation. As a result they are fetching bumper crop and that too of export quality,” said the MPs to the Minister.
