The BJP on Wednesday lashed out at the Samajwadi Party’s Government for “utter lawlessness” in UP and described as “callous” the response of the ruling party to the killing of a child in the State last week allegedly during “celebratory firing “ by “SP Gondas” at Shamli. The party demanded CBNI probe into the incident.
BJP national secretary Sidharth Nath Singh said police remained mute to the killing of innocent child by “SP goondas” and there was no police action even after four days and instead the SP Government was trying cover up the incident at Shamli.
Questioning Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, the BJP leader asked “whether killing an innocent child during celebration amounts to socialism IJ”.
