BJP lambasts O'Brien for uncouth language

Published on:

The BJP has come down heavily on the Trinamool Congress Members of Parliament for unparliamentary languages they had been using apparently to please party chief Mamata Banerjee.

launching a counter attack  on Trinamool Rajya Sabha member Derek O’ Brien for his recent speech against Prime Minister Narendra Modi where he said that the latter should be issued “visa” for coming to Parliament, BJP leader and party’s observer Bengal Siddharthnath Singh said that Banerjee owed an answer to “what made” her give “an unofficial visa to the Bangladeshi jehadis and spread their terror activities in Bengal!”

Wondering as to “why his (O’ Brien’s) Government and party supports invisible visa to Bangladeshi infiltrators” Singh said, “he should also explain why the Chief Minister … is now being popularly called the Chit Fund MinisterIJ”

In his quest to be the king of “Intemperate Vocabulary”, Derek O’ Brien was forgetting that obstruction was not a substitute of TMC’s conspiracy in Saradha scam, Singh maintained adding there was a “competition amongst TMC leaders with their Chief Minister as to who can use vilest and offending unparliamentarily language.”

Certainly the Chief Minister could not be pushed down from the “winner’s slot” but their Rajya Sabha member & Spokesperson, “Derek O’ Brien certainly beats his colleagues in the intemperate language competition,” the BJP leader said, adding that was “certainly not an asset derived from being a Quiz Master.”

Condemning O’ Brien’s “use of insulting language for the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister” Singh said “on both the counts words are not enough to condemn his speech. But one thing is clear that the way the Saradha Chit Fund scam and the Burdhwan Blast investigations are proceeding, TMC’s entire leadership is shaken and their anger is an expression of their linguistic skills.”
