The greenhorns and the  veterans together on Saturday attended classes of top BJP “teachers” including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who asked them to keep the student in them  alive even though they are now lawmakers or Ministers. He said the BJP is an “organic entity and not an “assembled” one and has achieved its present growth on account of its ideology.

The two-day training programme, “Abhyas Varga”, is being organised at Parliament and issues like the party’s ideology and Parliamentary procedures are being  discussed at length with debutant MPs finding their feet in the party and its ideological moorings. The attendance to the programme has been made compulsory which showed results with MPs trooping in the conference room before time in the morning.

The BJP is an “organic”entity and not an “assembled”entity, Modi told his party’s  lawmakers  as he asked them to remain active as ground workers even after becoming ministers or legislators.

“The has reached here because of its ideology and thoughts not because of one family’s legacy,”Modi told the BJP MPs in an apparent hit at the Congress.

“The party worker in you should remain alive always even if you become a minister or an MP. Irrespective of your age, always remain a student so that learning process goes on,”Modi was quoted as saying by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi.

The classes were  given in several sessions with the first day having nine of them.  BJP President Amit Shah has  had his say on “We, Our organization and our work culture “with Party’s working President J P Nadda expressed himself on the topic of “Our thoughts and concept of New India”.

The MPs were giving orientations on how to deal with legislative business and ask questions relating to their constituencies.  Party’s IT cell is giving classes to the MPs as how best to use the NaMo App and communicate with party workers and connect with the public.

An exclusive session on West Bengal is also planned with the MPs of the state.

Prime Minister will give concluding address on Sunday. Besides Shah and Nadda ,  Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Parliamentary Minister Arjun Meghwal, BJP General Secretary Bhupendra Yadav and IT Celll head Amit Malvia would have session with the MPs.
