BJP holds programmes with hired people: Cong

Reacting on the vainglory of the BJP over floor-crossing to the party, State Congress spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi said that it was the culture of the BJP to conduct programmes with hired people.

The BJP is habitual of suffering defeat in polls held so far in the country, and every time after the rout the party had gathered hired mourners only, he said in a statement. He said that the Congress fought the freedom struggle for an India free of British rule. The BJP, on the one hand, has been making the hollow claim to free the country from the Congress, and on the other, the party was taking help of floor-crossing by such leaders of the Congress who have not been given poll ticket.

Trivedi said that if the BJP leaders read their own statements made on party changing, they would hang their heads in shame. The BJP is fear-gripped of its defeat with the names of the 10 Congress candidates in the State and with the declaration of the Raipur candidate, the winning XI of the Congress would be decided, he added. He said, fearing defeat, the BJP leaders were adopting the diplomacy of floor-crossing, luring and blackmailing.
