BJP flays UP's law & order

Published on:

leaders in BJP’s Parivartan Rally, which was aimed to highlight Modi Government’s achievements, is silent on demonetisation but are vocal on law and order situation of State and corruption of Mayawati.

The strategy was changed once the Raths rolled into rural areas where farmers, who are getting ready for next crop, have started feeling the pinch of demonetisation. They stand in queue for long hours outside nationalised banks and return home empty handed as banks have no cash.

“This is a momentary phase and will change with the passage of time. The villagers are not angry but frustrated because they have to wait for long time in queue. So, the BJP leaders are talking about demonetisation as a passing statement. We are just linking it with corruption and are avoiding going in detail,” a senior BJP leader told The Pioneer.

What this leader said was reflected in the speeches of Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra and other leaders who are taking part in Parivartan rally. Mishra said this rath means getting UP free from the misrule of BSP and SP.

“Both these Government only looted people money. The need of the hour is to end parivarvaad in UP, free this State from corruption and improve law and order in the State,” he said in his rally in Deoria. The only mention about PM was when he said that Union Government pro-development schemes are not implemented in UP because the present Samajwadi Party Government is stalling all projects.

The tone was not different in Jhansi where BJP’s spokesman Srikant Sharma said that SP and BSP work in tandem. leaders of both these parties pour venom against each other but when they come to power they forget what they had said.

“People are supporting Modiji but this support will manifest into positive results only oif BJP comes to power in Uttar Pradesh,” he said.

leader of BJP legislature party Suresh Khanna said in Shikohabad said that in four and half year rule of Akhilesh Yadav UP has slided down with passage of every year. The law and order is so bad that even policemen are beaten up.
