In the matter of removing the BJP flag from the Scorpio vehicle of MJP MLA Dalvir Singh's grandson, the Aligarh Muslim University administration will challenge the matter in Supreme Court against the decision of the lower court of High Court.

Professor Shafe Qidwai of the Public Relations Department of the University told that on 22 October 2019, Prof. Bibi Singh, the member of the university's proctor team, did his duty by taking off the flag of a political party mounted on a vehicle inside a university campus as per university rules.

It is the rule of the university that no political flag-bearing vehicle will enter the campus. He did official work on government duty, so he has done nothing wrong. The High Court has decided not to quash the trial, which the university administration through its team of advocates will challenge in the Supreme Court.

On 22 October 2019, the Aligarh Muslim University Proctorial Team took the BJP flag off from the vehicle of the grandson of BJP MLA and former minister Dalveer Singh from Barauli at Baab-E-Syed. Vijay Singh alias Pappu, the grandson of MLA Dalveer Singh, was studying in the first year of graduation. The BJP MLA's driver came to the University campus from Scorpio to pick up Vijay Singh. On reaching Bab-e-Syed, the proctorial team took off the BJP flag from the vehicle.
