BJP chalking out Bihar poll strategies

Buoyed by its victory in Maharashtra and Jharkhand and comparatively good performance in Jammu & Kashmir, the BJP is focusing on Bihar to establish its own Government in the State after the Assembly polls likely to be held in October. The party began two-day executive committee meeting at Vidyapati Bhawan here on Monday.

National general secretary (organisation) Ram lal said at its inaugural session that the BJP will not concentrate on just winning seats but to form a popular and strong Government.

“The 2014 was a year of victory for us and in 2015 we will register big victory in Delhi and Bihar. Our slogan will be ‘Bihar ka hoga pura vikas, Chalo chalein Modi ke sath’ in the light of the works being done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he added.

He said Modi is the most popular leader in the country whose popularity had crossed the borders to international level. People have massive faith in his leadership and that is the reason when he launched cleanliness drive (Swachchh Abhiyan), the people on their own picked broom and started cleaning. The two-day meeting is being held to chart out its poll strategies.

Mocking the move by Janata Parivar for grand merger, Ram lal said, “The so-called merger of Janata Parivar is mismatch and people will eventually reject it because they know that such a unity of these parties is for selfish ends.”
