The BJD Government has introduced many welfare schemes and it would continue to do so as a friend of the poor and the farmers, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said while addressing a meeting at Kunapal under Mahanga Assembly constituency.
“Sixty lakh families have been getting `1-a-kg rice 60 lakh farmer families are cover under health insurance scheme. We now promise to provide pucca houses to all families living in thatched ones,” Patnaik said. He urged upon the Mahanga people to give enormous vote to MlA candidate Pratap Jena and MP candidate Baijayant Panda . Among tohers, former Speaker Sarat Kar, former MlA Bikram Kesari Berma, Mahanga Block Chairman Bhikari Swain, Nischintakoili Block Chairman Giris Ranjan Mohapatra and Jilla Parisad member Narmada Nayak, and Mulabasanta Sarpanch Bhramarabar Routray were present.
