The parents of Mehdi Masoor Biswas, a Twitter handler of ISIS who is now in police custody, have arrived Bengaluru on Wednesday from their native place in West Bengal. The Bengaluru Police has confirmed their arrival and said that Biswas’s parents wanted to meet the city Commissioner of Police.
“The parents of the accused were not called by the police. They have come to Bengaluru on their own and called me up, asking to meet me and I have agreed to do so at an appropriate place and time,” MN Reddi told the media. “As far as interviewing or interrogating them is concerned, that I will leave it to the investigating officer,” he added. Police sources, however, indicated the parents of the twitter handler of the ISIS would be interrogated.
