Yet another incident on the campus shamed Bihar. A private school in Begusarai district's Sikraula village did the most shameful thing by stripping the two young girls and despatching them to their home in semi-stripped condition duo’s poor father failed to pay uniform fee.

With the Government taking serious exception to the incident, an inquiry has been ordered and local police are taking action. Bihar Education Minister Ashok Chaudhary termed the incident as insensitive and said that stern action would be taken against the school and the culprits.

According to the reports in the BR Educatin Academy in Sikraula village in Koriya panchayat, the two young girls, both sisters, were stripped and thrown out as their father failed to pay the price of their school uniform on time.

One of the girls was a Class I student, while the elder one was studying in Class II. The incident took place on Friday when the father of the students, Chunchun Sah went to pick up his daughters after school, where a teacher asked him to bring in the money for the uniforms immediately.

The school had provided uniforms to the two girls who were supposed to pay for them. "I pleaded for some time to deposit the money but the teacher stripped my daughters on the spot in front of everyone," Sah told a news agency. He then went to the police and an FIR was lodged. The principal N K Jha and a female teacher Anjana Kumai have been arrested, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rajesh Kumar said.
