Bihar BJP on Friday suspended its MlC and State vice president lalbabu Prasad from the primary membership of the party and the chairman of Bihar legislative council removed him from one of the standing committee of the Council of which he was president.
Prasad is accused of misbehaving with lJP MlC Nutan Singh whose husband Niraj Kumar Singh Bablu happens to be BJP MlA.
After Prasad’s alleged misbehaviour Nutan informed her MlA husband, who came rushing and thrashed Prasad on Wednesday.
Initially, BJP legislature party leader Sushil Kumar Modi tried to cover up the matter and asserted that nothing had happened, the party had to take the action following the intervention of the central leadership. Nutan had informed about the ugly incident to PM Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah.
Deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, who took sadistic pleasure in the beating of the MlC by an MlA of the same party, accused Sushil Modi of attempting to rescue Prasad and demanded that he should also be suspended from the BJP, even as RJD MlC Reena Yadav wanted arrest of the accused lawmaker.
