For the last three days, the Bihar BJP leaders are putting their heads together at the State party headquarter to discuss and debate over how the party could register win on all the 40 Parliamentary seats in the forthcoming lok Sabha poll expected to be held in April-May this year. The senior BJP leader Shushil Kumar Modi, despite being in Opposition, has started holding weekly janata durbar at his official residence from Tuesday.

With the new poll alliances and emergence of political parties like Aam Aadmi Party, the Bihar BJP leaders are chalking out its poll strategies and plan with new perspective. The party leaders are of the opinion that more and more common people along with the new voter youths have to be contacted for Mission-40.

“Yes, we’re meeting to mull over the strategy for the upcoming lok Sabha poll as how to win all the 40 seats in the State”, said party leader and spokesperson Ravi Sahnkar Prasad. The party Bihar in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, Shahnawaj Hussain, Ravi Shankar Prasad too have participated in the meeting attended by almost all the top State leaders, including Nand Kishore Yadav and Shushil Kumar Modi.

“The only agenda of the meeting is how we can get maximum number of seats from Bihar to make our leader Narendra Modi the next Prime Minister of the country”, said former State BJP chief Dr CP Thakur. The party leader and MP from Bhagalpur Shahnawaj Hussain too said that the party leaders had a meeting to achieve our target to get more than 272 seats in the next Parliamentary election in the country.

The BJP leaders on Tuesday had a marathon meeting at State party headquartered to mull over the strategy. The senior State party leaders Shushil Kumar Modi, Nand Kishore Yadav and State party chief Mangal Pandey even reviewed the performances of all the divisons of the party election committee, while issuing fresh guidelines and instructions to them. “All the 19 divisions of the election committee have been asked to gear up for the polls”, said a State party leader. The State BJP leaders even had a meeting on Thursday to discuss the poll strategy.

Of late, party leaders and MP from Patliputra Shatrughan Sinha had apparently embarrassed the State BJP leaders saying that AAP has become Baap of all political parties but the State party chief Mangal Party tried to plat it down by saying: “It may be Sinha’s personal opinion but the party has nothing to do with it”.

However, a party leader admitted to The Pioneer that the State BJP leaders at the meeting discussed the performance of  AAP in Delhi Assembly polls and sought the need to keep track on all those who have been taking membership of AAP in the State.

Meanwhile, the State BJP leaders have also started taking on the Nitish Government head on. Party leader Shushil Kumar Modi, of late, had cornered the Government by saying the Nitish Government had tainted the “Bihari pride” while requesting the CRPF for not posting any Bihari officer in the State.

Modi’s attack apparently hurt the Nitish Government as some of the ministers soon clarified that the Government has nothing to do with the State police chief’s statement.

The state BJP also had recently sent a team of three women party leaders to Kolkata to meet the family members of the rape victim, originally hailing from Samastipur in Bihar. They later charged that the State Government’s help of `one lakh was not adequate.
