Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat was visiting Bengal on a three-day trip whence he would pay homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 127th birth day on Tuesday besides attending a marriage ceremony and holding some important organizational meetings, sources said.
This is his second visit in the past one month as Bhagwat had visited Kolkata last year in the month of December when he attended the Gita Paath ceremony.
The RSS chief's visit to Kolkata just after the inauguration of the Ram Temple Ayodhya assumes importance in view of the upcoming general elections scheduled to take place in a few months from now.
