In another gory incident of shame, a four-year-old toddler was allegedly sexually assaulted inside her school premises near Parapanna Agrahara, in southeast Bengaluru on Monday. According to police a
physical education teacher from Manipur has been taken to custody.
The issue came to light when the girl complained to her mother about discomfort in her private parts after returning from school on Monday. The alarmed mother took her to a hospital where the girl reportedly said that the teacher tried to fondle her during dance class. Rohini Katoch Sepat, DCP (South East), said, “The child said that the teacher fondled her in a class where 50 other children were present. We have corroborative evidence from CCTV footage.”
The school has 60 full-time staffers, whose background verification had been carried out by the police.
