After Mamata Banerjee’s Delhi and Bihar counterparts Arvind Kejriwal and Nitish Kumar, the West Bengal Chief Minister has invited Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Reliance boss Mukesh Ambani to Bengal business summit “Biswa Banga Sanmelan” that will be held
on January 8 and 9, 2016, Government sources said, adding Jaitley had given his consent for attending the programme.
RJD chief lalu Prasad is also likely to attend the programme. Banerjee who in December is likely to attend a private function in Delhi at Jaitley’s house is expecting some words on investment in her cash-starved State which over the past few years seen only flight of capital and almost no new investment, sources said.
