Bengal BJP slams Didi

The Bengal BJP has come down heavily on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for terming it an ally of the Marxists.

Attacking Banerjee for bringing “wild charges”, State BJP president Rahul Sinha said “she has lost her balance seeing the steady rise of the BJP in the State.”Informing that his party had already acquired a 6 lakh-strong membership which would be increased three-fold in days to come Sinha said he would "commit suicide than to team up with the CPI(M)."Banerjee had earlier said that the BJP was hiring CPI(M) goons to attack the Trinamool workers. “The dichotomy in her words are clear as she had herself met the CPI(M) leaders after the lok Sabha elections and offered to help them rebuild their organisation,” Sinha said.

Meanwhile, alleged Trinamool goons once again attacked the BJP workers on Thursday torching their houses at Basanti village in South 24 Parganas. The attack was allegedly carried out by the men of the Trinamool Pradhan, the victim’s family members alleged. The police were investigating the matter.
