Bangalore-based Bharath Earth Movers limited (BEMl), a defence sector public undertaking has delivered 136th Metro car for Delhi Metro RS6 Project. A Press release issued by BEMl says it has rolled out 136th Metro car for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation limited (DMRCl), the final consignment for deployment in the RS6 Project of Delhi Metro on Friday.
BEMl is the only public sector undertaking manufacturing high quality Metro coaches in the country. According to the Press release, Mangu Singh, Managing Director of the DMRCl has flagged off the 136th intermediate Metro car in the presence of P Dwarakanath, CMD and Directors of BEMl. With the rollout of the said 136th Metro car, the BEMl has fulfilled all the contractual obligations and supplied the entire lot of consignment on time.
