Bangalore-based Bharath Earth Movers limited (BEMl), a defence public sector undertaking, has bagged an order of Rs 570 crore from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for the supply of 70 Metro cars. BEMl a premier manufacturer of Metro Cars is going to supply 70 cars, which are in addition to 92 cars being manufactured for Delhi Metro.
BEMl has so far supplied more than 700 Metro Cars to Delhi Metro, Bangalore Metro and Jaipur Metro. According to a Press release issued by BEMl with this order book position of the company, representing all the three business verticals viz., Mining & Construction, Rail & Metro and Defence Business, has crossed Rs 6,400 crore mark.
