The Bharatiya Janata Party in UP has alleged that ruling Samajwadi Party leaders were intimidating Opposition candidates and have even carried our murderous attacks on them.
BJP State president lakshmi Kant Bajpai has given a memorandum to State Election Commissioner SK Agarwal requesting him to provide a level playing field in this election for the candidates of different political hue.
“In village Gadsaan in Firozabad district Samajwadi Party activists attacked BJP supporters when they were out for electioneering. Vehicles were damaged in the attack and many BJP workers received injuries. SP MlA Hariom Yadav is behind this attack because his son is also in the fray,” BJP chief said in his memorandum.
