Baby swapping slur returned to haunt the SCB Medical College Hospital authorities once again.
After the “Atmaja” episode last year, a family from Jajpur lodged a complaint alleging that nurses in the labour room of the gynecology department swapped newborn boy child with that of a girl.
While the hospital authorities vehemently refuted the allegation and emphatically maintained that baby swapping in the hospital would not be possible due to full-proof measures, the Mangalabag police have begun investigations following a written complaint.
