Hours after a Pakistani television showed Alisba a woman from that country denying allegations that she had dated India fast bowler Muhammad Shami in Dubai insisting their meeting ended up at the restaurant table only his wife Hasin Jehan exploded before the media as never before calling the woman names and “urging the Indian people to stand by me for justice” and police to “arrest Shami and his family members immediately.”
In what looked like a botched love story threatening to take political twist, Jehan also said she would soon meet Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to seek justice which she thought could come only after Shami’s arrest.
“There are people who still back Shami and Alisba. But this is not the story of Alisba alone. Shami has dated many more women as it is his habit,” she said alleging “Alisba is now telling that she had only met Shami as a fan and the meeting ended at the restaurant table. But I vouch for the fact that the meeting ended in bed of a hotel in Dubai.”
She wondered “what do you call these women! They are not women but prosti…. Who destroy others’ families,” a visibly agitated wife of the India quickie said urging police to arrest the cricket and his family members.
She said “my husband claims that his Instagrams are handled by me. If so then how could not I know the affairs between him and Alisba who were in a relationship since JanuaryIJ” urging police “with folded hands to arrest Shami and his family members in order to get to the truth.”
Meanwhile, sources said that the Board of Control for Cricket in India had submitted a report on Shami in a sealed envelope at the lal Bazar police headquarters in Kolkata but could not throw light on its content. Elsewhere a team of senior police officers from Kolkata questioned relatives of the cricketer in Uttar Pradesh, sources said adding about five of his neighbours were also questioned about the family.
