The arrest of Yasin Bhatkal has brought smiles on the faces of Hyderabad Police as it can help crack yet to be solved twin blast cases of February last. Both Yasin Bhatkal and his accomplice Tabrez, who were arrested on India-Nepal border on Thursday, are the prime accused in February 21 blast killing nearly 18 people.
Yasin Bhatkal and his brother Riyaz Bhatkal were also wanted in connection with the August 25 bomb blasts in lumbini Park and Gokul Chat in Hyderabad killing nearly 40 people.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma said the city police along with NIA officials will probe Yasin and Tabrez.The probe into the twin blasts at Dilsukhnagar is being conducted by the NIA. The agency also suspects the involvement of Bhatkal brothers and Tabrez in the incident.
