Alert jawans of the Indian Army early on Wednesday morning neutralised one terrorist while foiling a major infiltration bid along the line of control in Keri area of Rajouri.
According to Jammu based Defence spokesman Lt-Col Devender Anand, "a joint operation, based on specific intelligence inputs from J&K Police, was launched close to LOC in Keri area of Bhimber Gali sector in Rajouri district early wednesday morning".
“Terrorists were seen crossing the LoC. Alert troops of Indian army foiled the infiltration bid resulting in the killing of one terrorist. One AK -47 rifle with two magazines was recovered", the defence spokesman said adding the operation was still in progress.
