In a move aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and boosting tourism, the Argentine government has officially eased visa requirements for Indian citizens who hold valid U.S. tourist visas. The announcement was made following a resolution published in Argentina’s Official Gazette.

According to the new policy, Indian passport holders with a valid US tourist visa can now enter Argentina without the need to apply for a separate Argentine visa. This measure significantly simplifies travel for thousands of Indian tourists and business travelers, offering a streamlined route to experience South America’s second-largest country.

The Ambassador of Argentina to India, Mariano Caucino, speaking from New Delhi, expressed enthusiasm about the development.

“This is wonderful news for both Argentina and India,” said the Ambassador. “We’re ready to welcome more Indian tourists into our wonderful country. This step reflects our commitment to deepening people-to-people ties and making travel more accessible.”

The decision is expected to boost tourism, cultural exchange, and economic interaction between the two nations. It aligns with Argentina’s broader initiative to strengthen global connectivity and diversify its inbound tourism base.

Travel industry leaders in both countries have welcomed the move, anticipating an uptick in travel bookings and joint travel initiatives in the coming months.
