After the successful elimination of around 77 terrorists this year so far, their handlers are desperately trying to spread the ‘arc of terror’ in areas South of Pir Panjal range in Jammu region. These handlers are targeting ‘radicalised’ youth and motivating ‘local terrorists’ to execute nefarious ‘terror’ plots.
Few attempts were also made to trigger communal unrest in volatile district of Kishtwar in the last six month by selectively targeting BJP and RSS leaders and killing them in cold blood.
Failing one such recent attempt, joint teams of security forces on Monday dealt a severe blow by timely arresting two suspected terrorists along with AK rifle and some Indian currency from Gool area of hilly Ramban district.
According to MoD PRO in Udhampur, Lt-Col Abhinav Navneet, on the basis of specific Intelligence inputs, a joint team of security forces conducted an operation in village Harah of Gool Tehsil in the early hours of Monday. During the operation, the security forces apprehended two suspected terrorist and recovered one AK-47 assault rifle with ammunition, personal items and cash worth Rs 8,871 from their possession.

One AK 47 rifle, one AK 47 magazine, 30 rounds of AK 47 and Indian currency Rs 8,871 has been recovered from them.
In this regard case FIR No 40/2019 u/s 121 A, 120 B, 122 RPC 13/17/19 ULA (P) Act has been registered and investigation taken up.
