Another Min let scot-free by Akhilesh Govt

Close on the heels of withdrawing case against Mining Minister Gyatri Prajapati, yet another Minister in the Akhilesh Yadav’s Government got a major relief when the State Ombudsman reportedly decided to close the investigation against secondary education Minister, Mehboob Ali, at the preliminary stage, on Wednesday.
Sources confirmed that after being satisfied with the reply of Mehboob Ali, regarding allegations that he facilitated tainted district inspector of school, JP Mishra, and also in wake of finding no direct involvement of the Minister in corruption charges, lokayukt Justice (retd), NK Mehrotra, reportedly closed the probe against Ali at primarily stage on Wednesday afternoon. Mehboob Ali was charged for posting Mishra back at DIOS even when he was held guilty of corruption during an earlier probe by lokayukta and had also faced suspension.
