Even before the Revanth Reddy episode could come to an end another senior leader of Telangana Telugu Desam party leader is finding himself in trouble with the law.

Hyderabad city police has booked a criminal case against former TDP MP Nama Nageshwara Rao for allegedly threatening a woman to circulate her private photos.

The woman, Sujatha Ramakrishnan, lodged the complaint at the Jubilee Hills police station in Hyderabad alleging that the former MP and businessman Nama Nageshwara Rao had threatened to release her nude pictures if she questioned him about affairs with other women.

Sujatha said she knew Nageshwara Rao since 2013 and he used to visit her home.

“During the course of time, I came to know that he was a womaniser and had cheated another woman from Karnataka in the name of marriage”, she said.

She said that when she spoke to the legislator from Karnataka over phone she informed her that her case was pending in a court in Delhi.

When Sujatha asked Nageshwara Rao about it, he asked her to keep quiet or else he will release his private photos.

The former MP also allegedly told her that with the money and the clout he had he can do anything.

The woman also released a video and recording of a phone conversation between her and Nageshwara Rao.

Meanwhile, former MP’s brother Nama Seethaiah also lodged a complaint against her at the same police station alleging that she was threatening his brother.

Meanwhile, the Telugu Desam national president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu refuse to comment saying, “it is his personal issue. I will comment only after coming to know of the full details”.

Nama Nageshwara Rao was elected to lok Sabha from Khammam on TDP ticket.
