Even as a JD(U) MlA Bima Bharti was in news on Monday for allegedly freeing her gangster husband from police in Purnia, another MlA of the same party Sarfaraz Alam from Araria district was also in the news for wrong reasons. The Jokihat MlA has been accused of misbehaving with a lady passenger in Guwahati-New Delhi Rajdhani Express on Sunday evening.
An FIR has been lodged by 32 years old woman passenger’s husband Jaspal Singh Bedi. The Delhi bound couple was traveling from Guwahati whike Alam boarded the same A-4 compartment at Katihar and had his berth close to the couple.
Patna railway police sources said Bedi filed complaint at Patna junction on Sunday nightIJ against the MlA for misbehaving with his wife and using abusive language against them.
Alam is son of former union MOS (home)IJ and RJD MP from Araria Mohammad Taslimuddin, himself a controversial octogenarian politician.
