Chhattisgarh Government’s land acquisition policy implemented for building the State’s hi-tech administrative capital Naya Raipur is being actively studied by Andhra Pradesh Government for designing its new capital, officials informed.
Chhattisgarh’s Naya Raipur land acquisition model is however not the only one which is being studied by the AP Government but also those of Gujarat and Union territory like Chandigarh. The AP Government had been studying the ‘land pooling’ methods of the three States to come out with its strategy for land acquisition.
