One research scholar of the Department of Biochemistry, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Dr Javed Iqbal was a member of the team of Multidisciplinary Centre for Advanced Research and Studies, Jamia Milia Islamia that developed the saliva-based testing kit to detect COVID-19.
Professor Najmul Islam (Department of Biochemistry, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University) congratulated the team members including Dr Mohan C Joshi, Dr Tanveer Ahmad and Dr Jawed Iqbal, adding that Dr Jawed Iqbal is an alumnus of the Aligarh Muslim University who completed his PhD under his supervision.
