Am campaigning to rid State of corrupt Cong Govt: INlD chief

Despite being on the receiving end from political parties and courts for campaigning in Haryana polls despite being on bail on health ground, Indian National lok Dal chief Om Prakash Chatuala on Tuesday justified his decision saying he was campaigning in the Assembly elections to save people of the State from the corrupt Congress Government.

“I even defied the advice of my doctors who had asked me for complete bed rest. How can I leave you in lurch when it was the only time to get rid of the corrupt, anti-farmer and anti-youth Congress-led Bhupinder Singh Hooda Government,” said Chautala.

Chautala addressed six poll rallies at Kharkhoda, Karnal, Yamuna nagar, Thanesar, Narayangarh and Panchkula on Tuesday.

Numbers of question had been raised on Chautala’s poll campaigning as he is out of jail only on bail.  CBI has approached respective court to cancel his bail application immediately due to his participation in campaigning.

At Kharkhoda, Chautala made an emotional speech. “I can sacrifice my health and my life for the people of Haryana as our ideologue late Chaudhary Devi lal did throughout his life,”.

Replying to Narendra Modi’s personal attack on INlD party on October 6, Chautala, said such words do not suit leaders of the stature like Modi. “INlD is a plant, nurtured by Chaudhary Devi lal and results of the assembly polls would show this,” said Chautala.

launching a scathing attack on Hooda, Chautala asked him to reply on his huge property.

“Hooda’s grandfather Matu Ram had only five acres of land and after the division of this property, Bhupinder Hooda’s father got only 1.5 Acre of land. Now Hooda should make it public, from where he had got huge chunk of property”, alleged Chautala.

He said INlD had submitted a chargesheet regarding the corrupt practices done by Hooda to the Governor of Haryana. “The Governor should investigate all those misdeeds,” said Chautala.
