All INlD MlAs expelled for disrupting House

All the MlAs of Indian National lok Dal were on Tuesday expelled from the rest of the session due to uproarious scenes in the ongoing Budget session. The MlAs disrupted the House repeatedly forcing the Speaker to take action.

Ashok Arora, State president of INlD and MlA from Kurukshetra, Abhay Chautala MlA from Ellenabad and Subhash Chaudhary were not suspended as they were not present in the House during commotion. The demand for debate and Government’s statement on the cash for change of land use was being raised by the Opposition INlD. Congress Chief Parliamentary Secretary Ram Kishan Fauji is in the dock against whom Haryana lokayukta has recommended a police case.

INlD and BJP MlAs started the demand for discussion during Question Hour, but Speaker Kuldeep Sharma did not allow it. After Question hour, INlD MlAs were adamant for Adjournment Motion on the Cash for ClU issue and appealed to the Speaker for statement of Government on a priority basis. But the Speaker asked Ram Pal Majra of INlD to start his calling attention motion first rather than adjournment motion. The Speaker said he got the Adjournment Motion late and could not examine it well.

As INlD was unrelenting, the Speaker had to adjourn the House for 15 minutes.  After the House reassembled, the Speaker asked Majra to present his calling attention motion.  As Majra failed to present his calling attention motion even after repeated requests from the Chair, the Speaker moved for next item on agenda and asked Anand Singh Dangi to start discussions on Governors’ speech.

An uproar and ensued for the second time and the Speaker again adjourned the house for 15 minutes. As INlD MlAs did not stop sloganeering, the Speaker named all the INlD MlAs present in the house for rest of the entire session on the request of Randeep Surjewala, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, who also moved a condemn motion against these MlAs for misconduct in the house.

Marshals were called in to get all INlD MlAs evicted.  Ashok Arora and Abhay Chautala, who were called back in the House to attend the proceedings, appealed to the Speaker to call those MlAs in the house, who were named for rest of the entire session, for healthy discussion. But Speaker Kuldeep Sharma refused to do so.
