Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav targeted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath saying that the law and order situation was never so bad in the State since independence.
The former Chief Minister said that the saffron brigade has unleashed a reign of terror across the State and the cops were being beaten up inside police stations and even IPS officers were being targeted.
“The BJP had made tall claims on improving law and order during the elections. But the situation is vastly different after they came to power. The saffron brigade has been targeting the police and the people at will and recent incidents of violence in Saharanpur, Agra, Aligarh and other places prove that law and order situation is abysmal,” charged Akhilesh.
Yadav added, “If a BJP MP can attack the SSP of Sahar-anpur and his family members and can go scot free then anything can happen in BJP-ruled UP.”
